jsa deductions

Does anyone know the maximum they can take out of £60.50 jsa for rent arrears.
Friend was told £15 a week but seems to high.
I thought it was about £3.

    They cane leave you with £0.10p.
  • Third party deductions for rent, council tax, fuel & water arrears for IS, JSA(IB) & ESA(IR) are currently sitting at £3.05 pw, rising to £3.25 in April 2009.

    Can also deduct, under the same third party rules for the "eligible loan deduction scheme". Depending on set criteria being met.
