Hi,
We bought our first house last year and needed a cooker and fridge so we bought it on our catalogue. I managed to get it on buy now pay later. We our now approaching the end of this period and I would like to transfer this to a credit card if I can. It's not much under £1000.
I have seen that the Virgin credit card is 0% for 16 mths and was wondering if I can do that with this card?
The time when we have to start paying off our catalogue is the end of March, should I wait till then or go for the 16 mnths now? We have never had a C/C before so I don't know much about it all.
Thanks in advance for any advice.
Becky

this is the way to do it with virgin. Ring them up or do it via online account, you want to do a BT to your current account it will be at 0% for 16 months and you will have to pay the BT fee at 3%. It takes a few days to go through, then you pay off the catalogue with cash from your bank. Oh make sure you fix up a direct debit as virgin/mbna will remove your 0% if your late with a payment. Job Done:)0

What clio is saying is correct.
Just thought I'd also add that Virgin / MBNA call this procedure a "money transfer".You're spelling is effecting me so much. Im trying not to be phased by it but your all making me loose my mind on mass!! My head is loosing it's hair. I'm going to take myself off the electoral role like I should of done ages ago and move to the Caribean. I already brought my plane ticket, all be it a refundable 1.0 -
Thanks for yor quick replies. I don't suppose anyone knows how long this offer will last, I don't know whether to go for it now or wait til the end of March?0
