Hi Katie
When did you take out this finance with BH?
I know some have and some have not depending on their personal complaints and when they had taken these out, (the year) etc.
May I ask what your reasons are?;) , thanks. The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
I have had loans with BH from as early as 1997 right up untill 2005 . The one 2005 was a sercured loan against my then property. I was paying PPI that i should never have had ,some of the years i wasnt even working so how could i claim for sickness etc.....plus in there small print it says you have to be working 16 hrs or more i was only working 8 when i was working .Plus my husband has a health condition that was never dicussed and only brought to light recently that he wouldnt have been covered . I WAS miss -sold .0

Hi Katie
Yes you have a good case here and the evidence to provide if needs to be.
I know BH were not covered by GISC who were taken over by FSA in Jan 2005, although the 2005 secured loan should be a more straight forward complaint to deal with.
The financial ombudsman service will only look at complaints if these were covered by the above regulators, but there is also the court option where others with experience of going through this should be able to help you here.
As I personally think you have a good case here, and the Finanical leasing association as well here may look into this but these are not that straight forward with successes, although some are.

However, I would still write to them and complain about this and take it from there, so check this out here if you've not done so yet:

Some PPI useful information and a template letter, but try to use your own words not for this to look like a template lol, and write all your reasons for this.
If you let us know how you get on one of us will be able to help you from there, they have 8 weeks to respond in full, post by recorded delivery.
If you post your outcome or if you require further help/info about this please also feel free to post on the PPI reclaiming discussion thread so others dealing with BH can post up with their experience with these.
Good luck.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

I wish you all the luck here and hope this time your lucky, the 2005 case should be not so complexed as the earlier ones.
Yes please do post up, anytime, your most welcome.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
