Bank charges - accepted with Nat West

We claimed £3,500 in bank charges with Nat West just before it was put on hold, due to unforseen circumstances our salaries have dropped dramatically. Thanks to Martin's advice we made a hardship claim and after several weeks waiting have just been offered a total of £5,000 (yes, we had to re-read the figure a few times just to check they hadn't missed out a decimal point!!! They had actually added on any bank charges charged to us since our claim - without us even making a claim for these extra charges!!! We have been told that this amount will be in our account withing 21 days. We still cannot believe this, but we would never have done any of this without having read Martin's advice. THANKS and I urge anyone else in the same situation to follow Martin's advice for hardship.:j
