this has been going about a week now, anyone watching the show noticed whether they are indicating if they are giving away a car a day or one at the end of the week

i.e
5 cars with 5 chances each time of winning 1
or
1 car with 25 chances total

The rules say "The first entry drawn at random from all eligible entries who has answered the question for the competition correctly will win the competition prize. The competition prize is a Peugeot 207 car including first registration fee and road tax for the first year...The draw date for the competition prize will take place on the closing date after the closing time for all entries."

So it seems to be just one.

This is a separate competition to all the others posted by cat last week. So in this particular comp, only 1 car is being given away with 5 chances, but there are 4 other comps with the same prize, all finishing on different days (4 working days after transmission, normally).

So 5 cars with 25 chances of winning across 5 separate comps.

If that makes sense. If it is a weekly comp, you can only enter 5 times and the closing date is 4 working days after the Friday transmission.

so if it's daily comp, normally a Monday comp closes Friday, Tuesday's on Monday, Wednesday on Tuesday, Thursday on Wednesday and Friday on Thursdays. A weekly comp normally starts on the Monday but closes the following Thursday. (It's slightly different when there are bank holidays...)

This Morning will give away the biggest cash prize on daytime television in January and the lucky winner will make an appearance on the show.

The GMTV programme, hosted by Phillip Schofield and Fern Britton, is giving its viewers the chance to win 200,000 pounds worth of exclusive prizes including five top of the range cars, five holidays to New York and a 100,000 pound cash prize draw.

Andi Peters will front the competition, beginning on Monday, January 19, and will give away a car every day and a holiday from January 26.

Any contestant to enter the competition twice will automatically be entered to win the 100,000 pound prize draw.

Andi Peters commented: "This Morning is famed for offering great competition prizes to its viewers, but this two-week giveaway is simply in a different class."

"There is 200k worth of prizes on offer with a credit crunch busting 100k and an opportunity to appear on This Morning to tell us what they will do with the cash for one lucky winner - what better way is there to cheer yourself up in January."

This Morning was the first programme to ever offer an on-screen competition.

Kiefer Sutherland, Piers Morgan and Paris Hilton are also due to appear on the show during the two week giveaway, which airs at 10.30am on ITV.

I think it's ONLY the 100 grand winner that goes on the telly. I don't want to either as it puts pounds on you :rotfl: :rotfl:
