Candy Buffet

I used to be in charge of pick and mix when I was the manager of a big multiplex cinema. And I'm having a sweet table. I'm even considering going to my old employers / suppliers to see if I can borrow some containers to make it look more 'real'.
Personally I love the fact I will have fizzy cherry cola bottles to snack on!
Ooh, my list so far (this will be edited!):
Fried eggs.
Cola bottles
Fizzy cola bottles
Candy necklaces and watches
Jelly snakes
Pink shrimps
Fruit salads and blackjacks
Refreshers
Retro lollies (drumsticks etc)
Cherry lips
Flying saucers
Wham! bars
White mice
Fry's bars (in memory of my grandma, we always shared one)
White gems (the white choclate drops with spinkles on)
Swizlles fizzers
Try the quarter of website it is good!Money, money, money, must be funny....in a rich mans world.

Personally, I don't think the buffet looks tacky at all and everyone loves sweets. Have a look in charity shops for unusual glass dishes, vases, etc (you will need to wash them first even if they look clean), even old fashioned glass cake stands could be used - you see lots of them in charity shops too and they are ideal for cupcakes.0

I personally think the buffet is a fantastic idea, it looks great. We have just bought some tall sundae glasses, and are going to fill them with jelly belly's to match our colour theme, and have 3/4 on each table

That looks so yummy
. If I went to a wedding with one of those I'd think I'd died and gone to heaven. :rotfl:
For our table centrepieces we had big bowls of pick 'n' mix with helium balloons coming out of them. Our theme was purple and silver, but when we did a test run with just purple, white and silver sweets it looked a bit wishy washy. Each bowl only worked out at about £3 each, plus bowl and balloons it came to about £12 each, much cheaper than flower centrepieces.Mortgage: Was: £154,495 Oct 2039 Now: £81,279.78 May 2037Swagbucks ~ £205 (2024 ~ £395)Surveys ~ £203.99 (2024 ~ £280.14)Make £2025 in 2025 #5 ~ £1,406.55 ~ (2024 ~ £2,561.04)0
