Stupid question about cooking a stew in a slow cooker

I think there are loads of 'lurgies' about at the moment unfortunately but give them a few days and they will be right as rain hopefully.

I'll make a note on my ever increasing list about taking meat from freezer - never even thought about forgetting that!- thanks MrsB


P.S. I still haven't found my SC yet but won't start panicking until I've had a chance to look properly. I haven't used it for about 10 years and it might not even still work - have only just thought about that
