Not sure which one to go for! as soon as i start a job im going to get one on finance/ take a bank loan! but im not sure which car to go for!! i need good MPG and low insurance.. possibly low tax.. any ideas?
The C1 from Citroen looks good
I think if you purchase a car half the price of a brand new Citroen C1, not only will you get a far superior car in every single way, the money saved will go a LONG way on tax, petrol and insurance over the period of a few years!
Just a thought!0 -
If you are looking new at that size of car the Mazda 2 (especially the Sport) and Suzuki Swift put a smile on your face and covers the other points.
Not so exciting but worth Skoda Fabia is a dependable favourite.
I would go looking for a car nearly new, 6 to 12 months old and then buy a slightly higher spec. model.
Mazda 2 is in the lead for fuel economy (50mpg "official"), it's light weight, very "chuck able" but the ride is a bit on the firm side.0 -
Used Skoda Fabia VRS? good fuel consumption, and capable of putting a smile on your face.0

I haven't driven it but I believe the Suzuki Swift is supposed to be a lot of fun to drive.
Can I just note a word of caution. Remember that we are in hard economic times and your firm might operate a last in first out policy if things get really bad. So how are you fixed to pay for the car if you get bullet?
Just think twice.0 -
