Anyone know if any of these hotels are in city centre locations as I dont drive?

Ones Ive seen are looking like rural locations?

    Thanks

  • Most are fairly rural (not walking distance)
The Head Honcho (does very little work)
  • I have managed to book two rooms at the St Davids Park Hotel for Mothers Day weekend. I have paid £10 for a double and £30 for a family room. Well chuffed as we have been wanting to go to this particualr hotel.

We went to Peebles/Barony Castle a couple of weekends ago. It was lovely and the leisure facitilies were great. You couldb't go swimming as a family of 4 for £10.00!! The rooms were very comfortable and we paid for the breakfast which was excellent. I personally didn't think that the prices for food and drink were bad. It was approximatley 50p more a pint than at our local. Having said that, we smuggled 2 x bottles of cava in our luggage and played cards while the kiddes were asleep. Very cheap and enjoyable weekend.

Looking forward to our next one.:j

This happened to me too, so I rang reservations and the room was available so I booked through them. They said they are having trouble with their website.

It could be that they just don't have the room requirement that you want. If you are trying for a room for 2 adults and 1 child they may not have that but may have a room for just 2 x adults.?
