I wasn't here then, but I wouldn't be surprised if some people 'come back' as a new user name.

I wasn't here either but I was going to say exactly the same thing. I bet they are here lurking. :rotfl:
I came in to this world with nothing and I've still got most of it left.

I can`t recall their names either. I do know that, in real life, they have all but disappeared. How delightful it is not to hear the "it`s different this time" and other carp mantras. Right now I am just keen to hang on to my business. Heck if it drops a bit more it`s a bit of money is better than no money. Such a relief that I don`t have a BMW that I need to keep repayments on.

And that lovely, warm, gooey feeling of an anonymous, smug, victory over a complete stranger.

I'm in a strangely caustic mood this evening. I think it's because I have a slightly chapped lower lip due to the cold weather. Bothersome.
  • Hmm, just realised that i can't actually award gold stars - 'apparently' they are awarded on number of posts? wheres the fun in that??:p

You seem to have your crystal ball out again by stating that prices will fall 20%, and I noticed you even stated 40% on another thread. Even the expert predictions from Halifax and Nationwide have stated 0% for 2008!

    Hi,
I have a fixed rate, Interest Only, with NR, which will run out in 12 months from now - I will not be able to remorgage as my LTV is way too high. (over 100% thanks for recent house price falls)

Luckly, I can afford the current SVR payments (just).

Do any of you guys think that NR may start to offer existing customers deals again, in the coming months/years?
