Well i ordered from ASDA a years worth of monthly disposables, proclear by cooper vision, also 3 months supply of bausch and lomb eye solution at a total of £7.50 for 2x360ml. The lenses cost £55.84 a total of £63.34 and with a £10 off voucher code a total of £53.34. Not a bad saving i think. In my opinion Specsavers are expensive, normal eye solution there own brand is £7.50 for 250ml. To sign up on there direct debit they wanted £10 a month, i know that includes solutions and a contact lens check but i still think it's pricey.

I have just ordered from sainsbury's contact lenses. The price for my daily lenses was the best i could find anywhere online at £18 per 30 pairs of focus dailies including FREE postage and I even earnt nectar points too!

I phoned them with a few questions and the service was excellent.
For once i think saisnburys have got something spot on!

    Hi there
I pay 25 pounds a month for dailys at boots
I could switch and pay about 18 pounds
potential saving in a year 84 pounds but how much of that would i give back for a eye examination every 2 years and a check up every year which are both free thru boots
    Thanks in advance

    Hi

I'm sad enough to do the sums becuase i am a real money saving addict!

£84 saving per year on lenses.

Annual contact lens checkup - £24 @ at D&A (you get a voucher for 20% off annual checkups at D&A when you buy from sainsburys)

Bi annual Sight test £20 ish , but there are always offers for half price or free eye tests on these boards. assume £10 every two years.

So you still save around £50 every year PLUS you would earn about 500 nectar points per year.

And you get free delivery - I don't know if boots deliver for free or do you have to collect them?

I'm sold its another £50 a year to my moneysavingexpert target! :j
