Car Finance - PCP

whosthatgirl,
What brand of car are you looking at?
There are some great brokers such as 'drivethedeal' or autoebid who might get you an even better price.
with drivethedeal they often use a main broker which allows you to arrange the pcp finance and get a great discount too.
definately worth haggling if you are in the money as you state but as others have said, probably best to go talk to the salesman with the numbers on a sheet in front of you. He/She won't want to lose the sale, so there might be wriggle room.
Good luck
R.
PS - I don't work for either of the above companies, just going through the process and have seen these two recommended on here and other sites.Smile, it makes people wonder what you have been up to.

its the fiat 500 1.2 pop.
i had a look at some of those type of sites before i went to the garage to see if there was anything i could use to haggle with but i couldnt find anything. after id been to the garage someone i work with found the car excatly to what i want much cheaper (on list price, i didnt look at finance options for it, obviously if i had to get a loan or another higher apr finance deal it wouldnt be worth it anyway as standupguy said). the person i work with said i could try to get the to lower the price or throw in some extras but i wasnt sure where i stand with this.
i might try my luck and go in on sunday to see what they say. im scared of them just cancelling my order though! definately want to get it from there.0 -

You really do have nothing to lose.0 -
If you have had the deal on pcp through FAFS (Fiat finance) you will not get a better deal as they offer a sub vented (discounted rate) and the residual values cannot be matched by any other finance company I have tried......the dealership will most probably not be making on the finance....there is a very small margin in the 500 think it is 4% pre vat so not alot to work with also ILW if someone does cancel a 500 pop there are people out there to buy it although the lead times are reducing now.....they have been a very popular motor it0

ive told them about the price i seen and the bloke is investigating it and says he has to inform fiat because he says fiat are not allowing any discount on the fiat 500. said hes going to get back to me with what he can do.
he better not cancel my order!0 -
