i've got one and from memory its 200ml you put in - water comes near the line round the outside about 1.5 cm from bottom. just pour the water in and stick it in microwave for 6 mins or so. if i can find the instructions i'll post more accurately but thats how i used it.DON'T WORRY BE HAPPY

The water will overflow from the middle bit to the outer bit. So dont worry too much - but if it doubt, with all steam ones put the water in the middle.0

yeah the water overflows from the middle bit you dont need to fill that up specifically, i wouldnt worry too much about exactly how much water, i was all good measuring it at the start (the way you do!) and then i was just firing it in.DON'T WORRY BE HAPPY

I think that breast pumps and the bits are AOK in a steamer if I remember rightly from my instructions that I binned last week! And I have personally put in breast pumps and bits into an electric steamer before.
But the bottle brushes and teething rings are definitely not steamable (cannot take the heat and melt).0 -
yep i sterilised my breast pump in it - its grand, and actually so handy and quick to do it was great.DON'T WORRY BE HAPPY

well done on feeding her solely on EBM :T . That must take it's time with all the expressing & sterilising.
If you are after another pump, so you can alternate them, Asda's baby event starts soon. I had a leaflet from them. They will be selling the new Tommee Tippee breast pump & microwave/cold water sterilisers for £10 each. I bought one of each last time it was on offer, & finding them both really good (much better than the awful new avent pump I had last time...the first one was great, then they 'improved' it!)0 -
Hi I have that one - you put 200ml water in it and then put on full power for the time it states on the hinge - it depends on the power of your microwave. It is between 4-8 mins. I have to do it for 8 mins. I use it for bottles/cups/dummies etc anything that needs sterilising.

isnt it weird i'm the exact opposite of you - i had the avent breast pump, i borrowed it off a friend and loved it, found it really easy and comfortable to use. then in the last asda baby event i bought the tommee tippee one (it was £10) and I HATED it, it was quite painful to use and i couldnt express anything with it. i like the avent one because of the soft silicon bit that goes over your boob and the tommee tippe one didnt have this and was quite hard.DON'T WORRY BE HAPPY
