Can anyone give me some advice please!!
We received our quarterly bill (Oct-Dec) from npower for our gas, they saying we use 128.kWh every day. Last year the usage Oct-Dec was 27.76kWz.
Its such a huge jump and puts our direct debit from 60-160 pounds a month.
We live in a 4bed semi, we're at work all day and my partners kids are only here half the week. We have gas central heating and have the heating on about 7 hours a day and we use gas to cook with.
We're on an imperial meter
advice would be appreciated!!

We have an imperial meter and in a three bed mid terrace. We cook with gas too. In Dec, our gas use averaged 120kwh a day so yours seems reasonable to me.0

We have had the same thing happen, gas and electric with them, was in total £88 p.m now they have put it up to £175 p.m, we have a end of terrace newish, 3 bedroom house, 2 of us. We are both at work all day, dont have heating on in bedrooms, (dont like heat on in our bedroom, others not in use), heating gas on a timer. Use gas hob and electric oven, washing machine just at weekends.
I have just been on various price comparrison websites, and now in the process of changing provider.
I personally would advise you to have a look what else is on offer around your area, npower had a better rate than we are getting with them, but you can only have it if you are a new customer, which I think is awful, when they have been taking our money each month for years.0 -

Are all the readings on both year's bills based on actual or estimated readings?Declutterbug-in-progress.⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️0
