Skintsteve's OR Interview.....OVER

Hello!

Well what can i say?.....

The phone went at 2.00 o'clock on the dot, and i was greeted by a very nice lady indeed. We went through the declaration etc, and then started at the beginning of the forms. She asked if any amounts had changed on the forms she had, and i just told her that the co-op account balance would of gone down for monthly expenses etc. She then told me that she had written to the co-op to inform them of our BR, and that she had no interest in the account. So that was good. We then discussed my car. What value is the car, and hat do you use it for? I told her the amount and she said as the car was used for work, and picking up the kids some nights she said the car was exempt!!
We then preceded to go through the forms asking why we borrowed that amount etc, all very polite. She then told me she had entered our SOA into an IPA calculator, and there was no surplus so there wont be an IPA!!
She then asked for out Tenancy Agreement, she asked if we had spoke to our LL , which we haven't. I'm a bit worried about this!!!!

She then asked if i had any questions etc... and the declared the Interview over... 20mins

I then passed to my wife, same thing as above, but might loose OH car as slightly more, but agrees she needs a car for school, nursery an work, so waiting to see if they take hers, but we will get another one. No IPA again.
Asked if we had any other questions etc, then declares her interview over.....20mins again:eek:

So we are very glad that its all over. Obviously they need to see CC statements etc, but she agreed that we haven't been extravagant, which we haven't and that it should all be straightforward:D

So a big thanks to everyone here. Wouldn't of been able to do it without the help of all you lot. I am converted and will be here to offer my advice and support for a very long time to come!!!!

  • Congrats Steve and OH bet your relieved its over.

Can I ask how far back do they go looking at Credit card statements?

    Thanks
  • In the pack it asks for 12mths (if you have them). I believe the OR can obtain up to 10yrs if he/she feels the need to. I am sending whatever i have to them on Monday.

I am relieved startingover thanks. We still don't know about the OH's car yet. I think it could be 50/50 if we keep it. The are letting us know tomorrow, but im just glad it went ok. I've been fretting all week about the interview!
