hi all
which is the best savings a/c that will allow me to set up standing orders into my other regular saver a/c's, and current a/c's?
all the saving a/c's i have looked at so far don't allow standing orders or direct debits....
or do you have to drip feed money into a regular saver manually each month?

Hmmmm.... I think cahoot savings accounts allows external standing orders..
I use halifax websaver / current account combo
The websaver does allow standing orders to other halifax accounts... if I want it to go external I do a standing order from the websaver to the current and then a standing order form the current to the other bank.0 -
some regular saver accounts specify that the funds must come from a current account, but depends on who with i think0

I'll save Winston Churchill, Jane Austen, J. M. W. Turner and Alan Turing.0 -
I think the Halifax websaver allows a limited number of standing orders to external organisations - but it is only about three - not nearly enough for most people!
However, you can open as many websaver accounts as you want!0
