Which Combi? for 2 bed house

Options
Hi,

I am renting out my house at the moment and have just recently found out that my pipes are leaking everywhere (corrosion). The house is about 25ys old and is in mk. Apparently back then they didnt do the plubing properly for alot of the houses and is quite common for houses of my age in mk. Well im considering changing the central heating system, rather then getting bits here and there fixed each time.

Now i dont have alcue about plumbing or heaters and would be looking just to get a plumbrer in to change the whole system. I get the idea after reading off other threads that the system would be cheaper for me to buy and get somebody to install it.

On one of the other threads somebody recommended this site:
http://www.mrcentralheating.com/index.html
i was looking at just buying the set shown n this page and getting a plumber to fit it. Is this a good deal? i dont know but i would like to purchase a complete set rather then get the plumber to get it in, so that i can keep the costs down.

I have seen these other sites recommended, but they sell everything individually can anybody advise me what i would need to get if i was going here?
http://www.uselessenergy.org.uk/boilers_prices.asp
http://www.ptsplumbing.co.uk
Or i presume i could just read off the package the other site recommended to them.

Any help would be appreciated.

regards
rich

If your renting your property surely it's the landlords responsibility to carry out the repairs ?

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh that'll teach me to read posts properly from now on then Suki :)

Ok I would get a plumber to come around and ask his advice on what boiler you need, ask him for a price to replace the system including materials, it'll probably be just as cheap than you buying the materials and then him fixing for you.

Mum had her boiler replaced last year with a Combi, and we are very happy with the new system.
Boiler is a Baxi 105HE (B rated) you can also get an A rated version 105HE plus.

Control is via a Honeywell CM67 RF Pro Room Stat (Wireless).

Best thing from my point of view is No hot or cold water storage, CH and hot water temperature independently controlled, and a nice warm bungalow.
That gum you like is coming back in style.
