I wouldn't trust emailing the CSA at all. You will receive an automated response and. if you get a reply, it will have nothing to do with your complaint. Useless.0

Got a reply once they said "tried to contact you by telephone" Liars "Due to data protection we are not able to deal with your enquiry by email"0

and that took 2 weeks0

i wrote specifically in the email to contact me by letter, will wait and see but not holding out hope as per usual0

If the content of your email won't make THEM any money, it will take them forever to reply....
The CSA aren't there to get money for the PWC, they are there to get money for the government.

Don't hold your breath regarding any sensible response to an email. Telephone calls are useless as well.
There are many on here that advocate the use of the written word in all dealings with the CSA and I endorse this. Once you have something in writing from them it's very difficult for them to deny having said what was said etc.
They are a very ineffective organisation as many on here have said.0 -
cheers for the replys folks, i know perfectly well how useless the csa are have been dealing with them for years, fortunately my complaint has been at the ICE and they have made 8 recommendations to the csa, and they have until 9th February to deal with them, no word yet!! but i hear they leave things to last minute anyway.
I also received a phone call yesterday about a couple of hours after i had sent the email had the same dialling code as falkirk office, no message left, tried to call it back this morning but just cuts off!! very strange, maybe they are listening0 -
I have complained two week ago , yet again as hubby has been asking for paying in slips since nov he has rung 9 times and ive emailed! still no slips! our case is with the ICE, my hubby has been offered payment for the ball up to do with the CSA taking forever to submit his case paper! lol0

Personally, I'd do everything in triplicate.
Write a letter & keep a copy, email & phone the details of your query & confirm on the phone that you've also written & emailed.
This still won't be perfect but at least it gives you a fighting chance of the CSA getting some part of it correct.Donedoingdebt Lightbulb moment January 2000. Debt at highest approx £102,000. Debt now (October 2009 - absolutely fork all!!!)

All the CSA account information that he needs should be available via a phone call to CSA accounts dep't. Alternatively, when he does receive his next set of paper slips, just copy the information from there.Donedoingdebt Lightbulb moment January 2000. Debt at highest approx £102,000.
