Look jamie, I wouldn't do it either but what someone spends their money on isn't really up to you and this person may have been saving their money for months or it may be a gift. I think if you aren't going to be helpful don't bother posting.God is good, all the time

Thanks Emma, how nice to get a helpful reply.
Uggs are extremely expensive and extremely hard to get hold of. I personally wouldnt spend that on them either, but they are a gift from my Dad.
There are loads of fakes out there selling for over £100:eek:0 -
Sorry
I do not normally get involved in online spats but I just cannot believe what jamespir is writing. Not only is he factually incorrect on just about everything he has written but it sounds like he has sour grapes for some reason? Maybe his girlfriend cannot afford the real thing? Anything with an ounce of common sense knows that cheap boots like this are a false economy and as well as being flimsy and cheap looking, they get that strange saggy bit where you end up walking on the side if that makes sense!
I personally prefer and buy EMU boots, but that is my preference. They are cheaper than UGG but I think better quality but that is my opinion and if you want UGGs that is your right. Everyone is different.
I would not worry about ASOS, I would quite happily order branded stuff from there, they will not be fake. If you asked UGG, maybe they have them listed as As Seen On Screen or another trading name and do not recognise the name ASOS because of that? Anyway, do not worry yourself.

To OP - dont worry. As said already ASOS is a big company and they would not risk selling fake uggs.
I nearly bought some from this site (hope its ok to post) :

75 pounds were 125. And please ignore jamespir's comment. It was totally rude and not needed.
And welcome to MSE

It appears James is indeed the retard! Not only does he have very little knowledge of the product,he also has little knowledge of grammar and spelling!!
Uggs are expensive, but genuine uggs will last for years and won't let you down, but make sure you treat them with a scotchguard or similar.
Welcome to MSE, I'm only sorry your first experience had to be so delightful!;)0 -
Would also just like to say
Not everyone on MSE is rude ! Its just the odd few people like james that ruin it.Proud mummy to 3 beautiful children who I love so so much :oxxxx

Asos would not risk screwing their reputation over selling fakes! they pride themselves on selling top gear at decent prices- they compete with the high street and have built up thier company over years, for them to go start selling fakes and pretending they were genuine would totally go against everything they have worked for!
I think uGg australia are likely to know only a few of their actual stockests but not all, maybe this is why they had not backed the site selling them- they didn't know or something. Either that or they haven't updated their systems/told the person on customer care whats going on!0
