I'd noticed that too in my case, didn't contact them then they contacted me. I think their way of looking at it is on 21 Feb you hadn't earned any interest. The time it has matured is after you've earned 12 monthly interest amounts. Sometime after I'd been up to £3000 they contacted me, they will probably contact you before 21 March. Not to worry yet.Sorry my posts so long - not time write shorter ones.0 -
Sorry, I meant 21st Jan 2005... so on 21st Feb (tomorrow) it will be 12months and one day old. I received a letter the other week telling me what would happen. What confused me is the fact that the account has disappeared from "My Accounts" leaving me £3k short. I assumed the account would be closed and at the same time my other account would be credited. I'm hoping it will be deposited at midnight tonight.0

I've logged into my HSBC account and cant see reg savers there. I called up and the helpline told me that regular savers money will get transferred into my savnig account (thats because it was my nominated account). SO it might be different for you guys.
I'm going to check it tomorrow morning and hopefully I can rest. It's pretty good timing, seeing as I've just opened a barcaly's online Current account, I might as well go for their 10% deal.Olympic 2007 challenge Started 9 Jan 2007[strike]Aim Silver 2007.00[/strike] Aim Gold 3007.00 Achieved so far:782

Just checked and it's still not there. I'll be calling up today. If it takes up to 4 days they should have warned us in the letter.0

Hi Swipe, out of interest (no pun intended) how much 'interest' did HSBC pay you?0

Hi
My HSBC regular saver matures this month. I have recently opened an A&L account and regular saving and have moved all my DD's to them. The only thing I use my HSBC account for now is to get my salary paid into to satisfy the regular saver t&c. I'm just wonder whether it's worth doing the HSBC regular saver for another year? I've calculated that moving my salary to A&L each month will cost me about £8 a year in lost interest and it is obvioulsly a bit of a pain. I can't decide whether to scrap HSBC altogether (except for putting the interest free overdraft in a high interest account) or to keep playing musical money for the sake of their regular saver. Any thoughts?

hi
Bradford and Bingley are offerring 10% gross on their christmas saver which is like a regular saver with a cap of 150pm and the best bit is that you need not have a current account with them(read in a newspaper). So in effect you can have two regular saving accounts with the best rate :j0 -
oops! seems this offer has ended0
