I thought GCsPCs had gone the way of Southend United. Well; gone even further than that. All I can find now is Browntoa's excellent link and, separately, a weird 'Laptop Quoter' page.

What's slightly unsettling about this is that the forrmer invites you to contact [EMAIL="legal@gcspcs"]legal@gcspcs[/EMAIL], the 'Legal Department' being the only extant arm of this once global enterprise, whilst the latter asks if you're in the habit of copying DVDs.

I wasn't aware that people who go around copying DVDs freely disclose that information to legal departments but hey, what do I know? [Name removed by Forum Team] 's the legal, as well as the business, expert around here.

    CORRECTION to earlier post.

I now realise that [Name removed by Forum Team] is not a legal and business expert but a right little sprinkler and pumper.

Why that description didn't occur to me before, I dunno.

You can get around the copy protection message by using firefox & noscript or just disabling javascript in the web browser's options.

I am using noscript. I just happened to have a look at his source code, to check if had used mr site or others to make the site for him!

Simply press Ctrl+U or use noscript to not allow for the script to execute(bad grammar, I know) on FF to view the source code, though beware that [Name removed by Forum Team] will charge us £150 each for viewing the source code, and will also see us in court :D

Any way, after looking at the source code, I saw no reference to any sites like mrsite etc... however after putting the site through(a not so strict) W3C checker at infohound.net, it had several errors

Im assuming he didnt write the code himself, as I dont see the point in all the "//'s" on the page, though someone more learned could help :D

^ I thought that the /'s were used in other languages for comments and PHP had its own "tag"

Its unlikely that he used professional software such as Dreamweaver, as sites made in there tend to be W3C compliant. The font used on the site seems to be Arial over Verdana

Arial is not bad, however Verdana is the norm.
