There is always a problem when entering into a contact with a 'minor', if, indeed, [Name removed by Forum Team] is a 'minor'. If he is sixteen and living in England or Wales then his customers are really on a 'sticky wicket' since they would be bound by any contact made but [Name removed by Forum Team] would not.

Of course, the whole issue is complicated by the fact that there is an implication on the website that any contract would be with a registered UK company. Only at the checkout stage is there any hint that a prospective customer is dealing with an individual and not a company.

The Count Court Judgement is for £830 . I would have thought that's quite substantial.

    At {Removed by Forum team} prices that would be 2 x Nokia 3210 sales:rotfl:

  • Infuriatingly, having performed a search on eBay for a member with the email address 'legal@gcspcs.co.uk', I have found that there is an account with such an email address, but data protection means the info can't be shared unless I have traded with him.

Would have been good to see his (mobile phone) purchase history...

Just to bump up this thread and to say that his "closing down" sale is still on after all these months. I wonder if he has actually sold anything in all that time?

He must have been reading this thread because his website is currently off-line. Is this finally the end for the "next Alan Sugar" ?

He's still above the age of criminal responsibility which, iirc, is 10 in England and Wales.
