I just rang the "order line" and got through to [Name removed by Forum Team] ; here's the conversation (I taped it):

Burgerflipper: Silence
Me: Hello?

Burgerflipper: Hello?
Me: Oh hello, it this the GLC Group PLC?

Burgerflipper: Yeah
Me: Oh hi, I am keen to buy your Nokia Navigator 6110; is this still available?

Burgerflipper: Who are you?
Me: I do apologise. my name is Beauchamp Orme-Smythe, I am calling from London

Burgerflipper: Do you wear a Tesco bag on your bottom?
Me: Excuse me?

Burgerflipper: Your mother is a !!!!!.
Me: Well, maybe she was once, but I really rang to buy a mobile phone with my credit card. Can you help me that or should I go elsewhere?

Burgerflipper: Why don't you go and f*ck yourself
Me: Maybe later, but first I want to buy a Nokia

Burgerflipper: What is your phone number?
Me: 020 7589 1465

Burgerflipper: I am ringing it; no one is answering
Me: That is because I am not at home and I rang you from my mobile.

Burgerflipper: Right, I have had enough time now to trace the call and the Police will be with you in 10 minutes
Me: Why?

Burgerflipper: Stop wasting my time
Me: I just want to buy a phone, can you help me with that?

Burgerflipper: F*ck your mother (hangs up)

OMG, just imagine if I was a real customer trying to place an order?

Essex Police (with its unlimited budget) have set up a crack team who's only job is to trace any phone calls made to the Southend Wunderkind. He has been such a help to them in the past as a one-man (child) crime-fighter that they are more than happy to devote all that money and manpower to this task.

[Name removed by Forum Team] , you seem to be contradicting yourself. First you say that the phone system has been switched off and you never received that call. But later on you are talking as though you did receive that call, because you mention the Tesco bag.

And why won't you answer my question about the gift cards? Is it because you know you are breaking the law by selling something that cannot be redeemed. That is known as false trading.

If, as you say, your phone system is switched off, how are you going to take any orders. I just don't understand your trading methods.


I see that you have disappeared again when any embarrassing questions are asked. Some people would call that the action of a coward.

Every company has to have a registered office address and so Basingstoke is our new registered office with much newer technology, more expensive but newer technology thats easier to use.
