It's my favourite thread as well; the [Name removed by Forum Team] s are Britain's stupidest fraudsters, I can't even remember the number of times I spat my tea out laughing at something written on this forum.

[Name removed by Forum Team] , to help you understand such things as insecure sites, take a look at this email I have just received:-

    http://217.108.14.5/Halifax-Online/

If you look at the URL it starts with "http" and not "https", exactly as your credit-card site is configured. This is known as a "phishing" site and collects people's bank and credit-card information do that they can be used illegally. You site is no different to those.

I hope that's not too complicated for you, and I apologise for using words of more than one syllable.
is so insecure & dodgy that firefox, kaspersky and mcafee siteadvisor all flagged up the same message.

I have been looking at his terms and conditions, especially his returns policy. It clearly states :

The goods must be returned to the address shown within the contact section of the website.

Well, the only address shown on the website is the one in Basingstoke, According to [Name removed by Forum Team] this is just a "virtual office" which he can operate by remote control from Essex. So when a parcel arrives in Basingstoke there will be nobody to receive it. I suppose [Name removed by Forum Team] will then have the perfect excuse not to pay a refund.

    5. It is only you that will be covered in excrement when you are old and incontinent.

I have no real axe to grind here, I have never used this company and never will. I buy local. But I have to say that is a rather revolting and obnoxious as well as unnecessary thing to say to someone.

Not an example of good Customer relations.
"There's no such thing as Macra. Macra do not exist."
"I could play all day in my Green Cathedral".
"The Centuries that divide me shall be undone."
"A dream? Really, Doctor. You'll be consulting the entrails of a sheep next. "
  • So what about this secure site for accepting credit cards? You've evaded it for so long now, and if you go off line without answering, well, it doesn't look good, does it?

Oh dear, he's gone off line to think up another excuse to that one.
