Advice in claiming back HSBC charges.

Hi, I started a claim back in October to HSBC using the templates but modified for £577 without interest.
HSBC wrote back to me in November stating that they do not agree that their charges are in any way unfair and they've put my case on hold thanks to the FSA.
It's now January and not a peep. Should I call them up and say that where my case is? Should I claim hardship? I am actually struggling a little with money right now although not in the red.
Thanks in advance

You can, but are unlikely to acheive much. Some people have claims on hold since the FSA waiver (now extended to July 09) was introduced in July 07It's now January and not a peep. Should I call them up and say that where my case is?
Again you can, but unless your outgoings exceed your income they're unlikely to accept financial hardshipShould I claim hardship? I am actually struggling a little with money right now although not in the red.0 -
