Anyone going through this alone??

What a nice thred Jelly (I've got some Jelly in the fridge now, hurry up and set!)
It is difficult going through this on your own.
I don't really want to tell any of my friends, not because I'm ashamed or anything. I don't know, I guess I want to keep it to myself and it does get lonely sometimes.
Even when I'm with friends it feels like a lot of this stuff is on my mind and just can't wait to get the next three months out of the way.
Hopefully perhaps we can use this thread as a "We're on our own and trying to figure it all out" thread!
Thanks energised. Im also waiting for the next few months to be gone - really looking forward to the summer when hopefully the worst of this will be over - chin up:):j Goodbye debt - Hello sanity! :j0 -

Me and the OH are going through BR alone. Alright theres two of us, but none of us have been here, so we are aone. Jellygirl, ask what you need, start a diary of how you are feeling, or just read. there are hundreds of people on here going through the same as you. You will be amazed with this forum:DBR 14th Jan 2009

I can totally empathise with what you say - especially about the going home from work thing. Yes and I worry too but Im finding a lot of comfort here on this forum - its making all the difference so maybe I wont go barking mad after all:):j Goodbye debt - Hello sanity! :j0 -
Thanks startagain - its very encouraging to have such knowledge and friendly advice on here - comforting words also from people going through the same thing - I will do a diary entry I think to keep a log of how my situation develops - would like to help as I have and continue to be helped by people like yourself:):j Goodbye debt - Hello sanity! :j0

Hi jellygirl.
Good thread
I am on my own here too. But I have told the world (well, friends and family) that I may be bankrupt - although I can't discuss feelings with them. I just say "yeah, fine" even when I am really down. Like dalip said about her OH, I have no hope that they would understand.
This forum is my main support and the experience would be much much worse without it. Thanks all of you for that :A.
Good luck with your situation. Keep us posted. And don't worry about posting when you're really down, I've done it. We are here to help.

Nobody deserves to feel like that, no matter what their situation or responsibility for it.
You need to know what substance lies behind those letters jellygirl. Very little is the truth. Have a good read of previous posts and get yourself "the knowledge". Once you do, you can read them for what they really mean. Write effective letters to deal with the worst bullies. And know exactly what they can and cannot do.
You need to feel a whole lot better about getting home in the evening and opening a stinky letter or two.
Keep your chin up. And know that the way you are feeling now is just not acceptable. All the resources you need are here to get it sorted.
