You'll be very lucky if you can get accommodation in any of the Travel Lodges, Inns, Expresses type places for this weekend in Edinburgh - they'll have been booked up for months. You're probably looking at average prices of £100+ per room now

Your best bet is maybe to try something like laterooms.com to save you trawling through lots of sites in the first place?

Just nipping back to offer a HUGE thank you to Edinburgh, Scotland and the Scots for a fantastic weekend.

The atmosphere before, during and after the match was wonderful. You Scots certainly gave a fab rendition of the Flower of Scotland..... it's supposed to be us Welsh that do that - sing so passionately.

We met some lovely warm, friendly people and were made to feel extremely welcome.

We visited the castle and art galleries and museums and I kept my scarf and hat on the whole time and everybody was so chatty and friendly. The restaurants and pubs were equally warm.

Even the weather was perfect.

Well done Scotland:D
