can i cancel ppi with welcome

Options
Hi all is it possible for me to cancel the PPI on a secured loan that my wife and i took out with welcome finance , The loan was took out april last year for 15000 .
My wife and i took the loan out which included life care ppi and personel accident plan .
My wife is the first customer and she suffers from chrones disease so we believe that she will not be covered as she has a long term medical condition .
We have already requested a refund of ppi for three previous loans that i took out and was mis-sold because i was self employed at the time , the letters were only sent out yesterday , we dont think we will get the refund after reading other peoples troubles with welcome but as this current loan is only a year old will we be able to ring them up and cancel the ppi and ask for a refund or will we haave to send another letter like the others
Please can you help ?

Do not be put off sending a mis sold letter to Welcome, because of the year you took this out you will be able to take your case to the FOS if Welcome fob you off.
You can cancel the PPI AND claim mis selling.
Remember cancelling will only rebate a small amount of the PPI premium, but if you win mis selling you will have the PPI taken off the loan and any money you have paid to the PPI will be refunded to you plus interest.

There is no reason at all why you could not make a successful claim against WF. However there is more than just the premium to claim back if you are smart.
I am a former Broker, former IFA and former compliance officer, for my sins.

However, I have since seen the light.
  • Thanks Peter what more can i claim back other than yhe premium ?
