Can balance transfer be used to pay off debt recovery company

Im thinking of applying for either virgin or tesco 0% balance transfer cards as i just want to get rid of myself of debt with various crooks like natwest , but my main question is can I pay off a debt recovery (Moorcroft debt recovery) company with it?

I would be grateful for any advice.

If you choose Virgin and transfer the money from your card to your bank account and pay it that way

If you're being chased by a debt recovery agency, surely your credit history is going to have at least one default on it? It seems unlikely Virgin or Tesco are going to be eager to lend you money if that is the case.

Ill ave to check on that to be honest..i think ive defaulted twice in the past couple of years

With 2 defaults I would very much doubt you would get a mainstream card like Virgin
