Nissan Car Key

hi
one of my nissan car keys needs the battery replacing. any one any experience with this as i have never had a car with central locking before.:confused:

    excellent. wife needs one in hers, I've been hesitating on the basis that it's expensive.

  • well if it doesnt work you have nothing to loose

    the immobiliser bit inside the key needs no power (assuming its not a newish car with rolling codes)

    Usually a CR type battery, a few pence on eBay.

    As others have suggested, just unscrew, pop apart and swap.
