Its not just a £1 increase:
"1. Availability of free 0845 and 0870 calls of up to 60 minutes duration (excluding indirect access numbers and dial-up Internet access) dependent on residential BT Calling Plan: weekends only (with the Unlimited Weekend Plan £0), evening and weekends (with the Unlimited Evening & Weekend Plan £2.65 currently, £2.95 from 1st April), or any time (with the Unlimited Anytime Plan £5.82 currently, £5.95 from 1st April). Monthly charges, plus £10.27 line rental (£11.25 from 1st April) with Direct Debit and paper-free billing, otherwise add £2.73 (£2.75 from 1st April) – £1.50 per month payment processing fee levied by BT Payment Services Limited, a BT Group company, plus £1.23 (£1.25 from 1st April) without paper-free billing discount. Fair use policy applies – maximum 1,000 minutes or 150 calls a month. If either of these limits on free calls is exceeded, BT will charge for these calls until further notice. Terms and conditions apply."
Is this a "material disadvantage" which allows us to cancel?!?
"34. If we have made a change which is to your material disadvantage, you will not have to pay a charge if you decide to end your agreement early, unless the relevant price terms say otherwise. However, once we have told you about such a change, you must let us know that you want to end the agreement within ten days. When we make a change that we reasonably believe is to your material disadvantage we will also let you know that you may end the agreement early without paying a charge for doing so."
Because I want out of these increased charges!0 -
