Hi, Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: I’ve asked Board Guides to move threads if they’ll receive a better response elsewhere (please see this rule) so this post/thread has been moved to another board, where it should get more replies. If you have any questions about this policy please email abuse@moneysavingexpert.com.:rudolf: Sheep, pigs, hens and bees on our Teesdale smallholding :rudolf:0

That's a far too complicated question to be able to answer just like that as different company will be cheaper in different areas and with different usage's also your circumstances may qualify you for better deals with some companies. Your best bet is to try a comparison site like uswich, money supermarket etc. try a few I find that I offen get different results but after a while a clear winner comes through!0

Use the comparison sites in the resource bar above to see which is cheapest for you. I doubt you'll get the same answer as I would using my details.
If there was one overall cheapest supplier wouldn't Martin be recommending it and wouldn't we all be on it? (and there'd be no need for the comparison sites)"Now to trolling as a concept. .... Personally, I've always found it a little sad that people choose to spend such a large proportion of their lives in this way but they do, and we have to deal with it." - MSE Forum Manager 6th July 20100 -
And even then the comparison sites aren't the be all and end all with regard to the 'best' deal. It really all depends on what you are prepared to 'accept' to get the cheapest deal. For instance, the cheapest tariff at each energy suppliers is invariably an internet one - but do you want email bills instead of paper bills, for instance? Some of my friends are what I would call reasonably net-savvy but won't go near internet bills, whether they be gas/electric or phone bills.Call me Carmine....
