Playing poker on my wii

Have had my wii for just over a year and have just discovered i can get on-line with it, (slow on the ball i know lol) anyway, i have enough points to buy opera? once i've bought it (i can't swap my stars for point at the min as there isn't any an they do a set amount each day) can i install blue square onto my wii and play on line poker? thanks x

sorry 1 more Q.....do i need a memory card?

It depends on the site. If it works fully online and nothing is downloaded, and it's the right version of Flash it may work.

However you can't store anything to the Wii, anything written specifically for IE may not work and if it's not flash it won't work.

Looking at BlueSQ's site it says DOWNLAOD NOW so my hunch is you won';t be able to play it online through the Wii

Memory cards are mainly used for moving saved games to friends, or storing stuff to free up the Wii's memory, nothing can be played directly from the memory card except MP3's in some games

ladbrokes have an online flash version of their poker room... no idea if it will work on the WII or not tho

You have to pay for opera now, i have had my wii a year and a half and when i got it opera was free to download onto it

And it costs roughly £3.50 in points..

No, you can't install PC software onto your Wii - you can only use websites
