BT 0845/0870 free calls question

BT currently allow 1,000 minutes of calls a month to 0845/0870 numbers on their call packages. If you go over this, they say you'll be charged for these calls "until further notice". Does this mean that you could still continue to be charged even into the next month? If not, how is a month defined - are we talking a calendar month or a month from the 16th of every calendar month when this offer was introduced?

Neither - I'd assume it's your billing month. E.g. if your bill is dated the 23rd, so for you the month would be 23rd Jan to 22nd Feb.
That would be the logical answer, but knowing BT anything's possible!

Well 1,000 minutes or 150 calls, whichever is exceeded first. However, as I said, what happens if you exceeed this and how is a month counted?

As I said above, a month in phone company terms is usually the 28/29/30/31 days that elapse between your billing dates - look at your statement to find out when this is as it varies for different people.

If you exceed it you just pay the normal rate for the extra calls.
