Best Auction site

I currently use https://www.ebay.co.uk and https://www.ebid.co.uk for auctions. As I am selling a lot of video's that do not get bids, I normally use ebid unless ebay has a free day. Can anyone recommend any other sites for auctions within the UK.

There is no real alternative to ebay, videos are now such poor sellers you will struggle to make a lot of money on them anywhere unless they are very rare (some of the old BBC series were released on video but not on DVD and hold their prices).
You won't sell much on ebay's free listing days as there is so much for buyers to wade through. Like a lot of people I put up all my odds and ends (ie junk) on those days and am lucky if I sell a third of it and even that goes for opening price.

I agree with soo! as ebay is the most well established, well known and advertised (Apparently ;D) a lot more people know it and trust it! QXL (I have sent you pm) is another good one as is ebid. but at the mo its ebay! You could advertise in different places also if you state this in your auctions...but is it worth it for all the fees you will incur!?
Try using GIFS etc to cheer your auction up, Since I have it has interested more people as it looks more professional. I think there is still a buyers market for the right videos you just need to attract them!

Angelcake, thanks for the assistance, but what GIFS, and how do you add them to auctions?0

This is a GIF.....

You could use it for a star trek video for example.
its a string of images that run as a graphic.
If you want to sell a war film just add a little action..
this can look a lot better than a still image.
you can also add sound. have a look here on how...
