Hi over the last month our house lights have started to flicker quite badly, The strange thing is it's the downstairs lights only the upstairs are fine.
Could anyone shed any "light"
on this problem?
Thanks,
Pete.

Are the lights on a dimmer switch? We had a similar problem and it turned out to be the dimmer which we changed.

The cause of your problem will more than likely be a bad contact at 1 of your ceiling roses.
If you are competent check these first.
WARNING!
Make sure you turn off the electricity At the fuse box (Main Switch) before you go sticking your screwdriver into any electrical fittings of any type!!!0
