From what i understand you cannot transfer any recordings from Sky+ to a DVD unless you have a TV card on your PC and do it that way
I could be wrong though0 -
try again.. hit submit and wireless connection dropped.
Plug Sky+ into DVD recorder scart socket (AV1). Plug DVD recorder into TV. Turn DVD Recorder on and choose AV1 and make sure tv is playing as usual (but running through recorder). Choose what you want to record, stick a blank DVD in and hit record.0 -

its a doddle. heres how i did it.
Record the program via Sky+
connect a scart lead from the extra 'record' scart socket on the back of the sky+ box to your dvd recorder.
press the appropriate source button on your dvd recorder until it can 'see' the sky+ screen.
Go into the SKy+ menu - select the item and hit COPY.
Press record on your dvd recorder, and hit copy again. it will prompt you for your pin number, then come up with a program synopsis, then record it for you.
Effectively you are dumping from the sky box to your recorder, so i do it at night just before i go to bed.0 -
Rather than connect via the 2nd Scart 'vcr' socket, I have mine setup between the Sky 1st Scart 'TV' socket and the TV.
e.g.
Scart 1 ----> DVDR ----> TV
Been like that for a while, but seem to recall I did that way because the 2nd Scart does not give out an RGB or S-Vid signal - only Composite.
I don't know the Panasonic, but if it can take RGB input, then you should take advantage of it as I have.
The order of quality (descending) goes RGB, S-Vid, Composite, RF.-=Mr-J=-0
