New to all this - what's your success rate?

Hi all

Sorry if this is on the wrong part of the board....

I have just started entering competitions, as we're getting married this year and need all the help we can get!! What are your success rates? I don't feel like a hugely lucky person!!

Do I need to be entering hundreds of competitions a day??!!

Sorry to ask, I just wondered how well people do.

I've been entering them for just under 2 weeks now and have won tickets to Noel's HQ already.

I just enter as many as i can , when i can, try to think lucky to be lucky :j and you've got to be in it to win it :j

i enter as many as i can really just the ones i want or could sell or put away for presents i enter about 200 a day

I enter LOADS. Not sure how many, depends how much time I have to lull on computer! I usually win at least one thing (maybe more) each week. Keep Comping!!

I enter at least 50 a day (thats a day when i'm not home much, if i'm home its over 100) although when i first started (in november 2008) i did alot more than that, took about 3 weeks before i got my first win and have been slowly getting wins since then, still waiting for a biggie though! I think the more you enter the more likely you are to win at least one of them

Hi Becs, welcome to the board.

The way I see it, the more you enter, the more chance you have of winning. There are quite a few comps on the board aimed at people getting married and they probably have less people entering them so that'd be a good place to start.

I read in this in someone's signature once 'the only comp you can't win is the one you didn't enter'. So true!

Welcome - i probs enter about 20 - 30 per day, sometimes less. I seem to win something every month. Good luck.
