Hi, Appologies if this is already on here somewhere but i need some advice re moving my existing isa
i currently have it with the hallifax (open for around 3 years) but the interest on offer is not as good as the Alliance and Leicester’s Direct ISA which i would like to move to.
How do i go about doing this?? Is it straightforward?? will i lose out??
interest is due in april - if i move it now will i lose the interest due??
hope someone can help - its very scary as i just dont have a clue about this kind of thing!!
ps this is my first post - i think this site is great

The Alliance and Leicester should send you transfer forms to sign, which enables them to transfer the money to your new account from the Halifax. I've just transferred my Smile ISA to the Halifax, and it was all easy - it's in their interest to help you as much as possible. The closing interest will be added on to the amount transferred.Life is not a dress rehearsal.0
