Taping a programme recorded on sky+ on to tape via tele/video there is no sound! Vision ok. What have i done wrong?

Sounds obvious I know but check you haven't loosened any of the cables by mistake - e.g. any scart leads etc and then try it again. I have had this happen in the past and thats always been the problem HTH

there is an extra socket on the back of the sky+ box for 'recorder' out or something like that. are you using it?
Also maybe try a different scart lead?0 -
The usual cause of these sort of problems is the leads. Either your leads arent pushed in enough or they are connected wrong. If you have picture but no sound though it is more likely that one of them just needs pushing in properly.0
