postage price help please

i am trying to work out a postage price please
i have looked on the royal mail website but to be honest its a bit confussing and thats not hard to do to me:rolleyes:

it would be small packet weight 1.03kg

i know someone on here will be able to work out the price many thanks

Seems to be £5.02 with Recorded Delivery, but if you do not need the security of RD it will be £4.30 first class.

I don't know what the item is, but if I weigh a package and find it only a little over 1kg I tend to try to look for (safe) ways to save packaging weight: if it were 1kg or less you'd be able to post 2nd class for £2.49 so it can make a big difference.
