history tab on mozilla firefox

previously my history tab would list history in order of days, weeks etc as it still does on my i. e. browser, however, now i just get a random list of pages visited, how can i revert this to orignal llisting in order of days, weeks etc/
help apreciated.

hiya,
i have done that and selected sort by date.
however on screen display shows most recent date as 04/12/2075
the date on my pc as always been correct.so i do not understand this.

previously history on i.e. and m firefox was in the same format,
but now its different , i think it happened after i had to download new mozilla as everytime i tried to access hotmail mail account i was prompted to do this to view my mail
