Hi
I've just bought Ms Money and am trying to download my bank statements from Bank of Scotland. has anyone else managed this ?
I'm signing on with a .NET passport as directed but any file i export seems to be corrupt.

I have had no problems with Lloyds TSB, or Mint and Goldfish cards. Older version of Money though.0

Have you tried their "Help and Support" webpage for Online Banking? They must get asked questions like this every day...

HLK, how exectly are you downloading your account statements from BOS? With Lloyds, you log into Lloyds online banking, choose the account, choose Download a statement, and then the download format of the file - which for Money is a .QIF file. According to Microsoft here, BOS also support downloading statements in .QIF format:

Once you have the .QIF file of your account statement for a particular period, in Money, go to File, Import, browse to the file and select it, then in the next screen choose 'As a statement from my bank'. Then select the appropriate account.0 -
AS tim has said this is the main way of importing.
IIRC only Abbey support direct downlaoding straight from with MS Money.0 -
Thanks everyone - the penny dropped eventually - I didn't have any online stements to download as I'd only just changed the settings. I thought because i could see transactions there would be something to extract. Silly me...HLK
