Wooden/parquet floor wanted in Manchester

Anyone personally recommend anyone who can supply and fit a wooden parquet style floor ? (in the north west)

dont know about fitting but anthony axfords was the cheapest for real wood flooring have a huge range from bamboo to oak bolton branch had the best stock .ring the walkden branch first ask for paul or kirk tell him paul from a6 windows ask them who to speak to at bolton im sure they could recommend somebody to fit.failing that ive also heard stax is good to

Does anyone know if Parquet flooring is practical for kitchen use?
I mop up every day after a muddy dog - is it wise to get wood floors because of this - will it be damaged?

dont use parquet flooring in the kitchen especially with a dog for one the dog will ruin it in no time trying to get grip i would use tiles or lino
