But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free.
Examples could be charging your phone up at work instead of at home to save your electricity, hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.
So be proud of those small steps, they really are important.:D
Today i will:
- check online banking -
- update spreadsheets
- move money to savings
- Make a loaf in breadmaker
- storecupbpard meals
- laundry hokey cokey for OH
- ironing for me
- reduce, reuse,recycle one thing -
- do one thing just for fun -
- do something nice for someone else
- sparkle
Hugs to anyone else feeling poorly or down:D
Hi to any new posters and a big hi to all the regulars:hello: :hello: hope you all have a good day, off to take some paracetamol and get a hot drink.

Morning all!
I caved this morning and bought my iPod
I get paid on Friday and the money won't come off my account until then - I also want to make sure I get Moneyback on that purchase before I close my Moneyback account!
So, my plans for the day are:
- Have a NSD - I just bought an iPod for goodness sake, probably shouldn't spend anything else today!
- Check online banking
- Make PAD - £6! Impressive given that it's two sleeps until payday :rotfl:
- Breakfast and dinner at home
- Bring lunch and hot water to work
- Take new phone to work to charge - has to have a full charge before I can use it
- Transfer all of my pictures etc on to my new phone
- Use website to get money for old phone (I think it's worth about £50!)
- Go to Orange Wednesday movie - me and the Boy will both get in for nothing :T
- Washing at 30 degrees

hello everyone!
I've done something to my knee today so am finding myself hobbling. I'm not impressed. it was a bit dodgy yesterday but I thought a sleep would fix it.
Today I have will
- get measured for double glazing!! (very MSE as it is an overly generous Christmas present from my mum and dad)
- work hard and hopefully get noticed for good things at work (even though I usually hate the place)
- check online banking *done*
- check mobile phone spend *done*
- charge mobile at work *done*
-sparkle!
*done!*
- call factors about what kind of windows I'm actually allowed to get *done*
- [STRIKE]store cupboard meals (lots of 19p aldi noodles this close to pay day...)[/STRIKE] (so much for that plan...)
- do one nice thing for someone else (possibly an out of the blue email) *done*
- update MSE diary *done*
- washing at 30°C
- then hang it up to dry
I think that'll be all for now.
yours with a limp,
KT. x:hello: - Proud to be dealing with my debts!:j DFW nerd No. 1011!

* Laundry hokey cokey at 30'c
* Storecupboard tea - still going well with mealplans
* PAD - pay £1 to studio
