Built in cupboards...

We are in the process of buying a house. Till now we have always been renting so have no furniture to speak off. The house we have made an offer on is lovely with a faily large bedroom.
I would prefer to have a row of built in cupboards on one side of the wall.
Can someone tell me where I can get specilaists in who know their cupboards. And pray how much does this cost on average?

And by and large do built in cupboards add any value to the house??

go to https://www.upmystreet.com, type your post code in and look for your nearest carpenter. If you're buying through an estate agent, they might be able to recommend one.

If you chose a style of wardrobe that is timeless, such as shaker, then they should be a good selling point when the time comes to sell the house. It is doubtful whether they'll add any actual monetary value.

As to cost, well this a bit like the how long is a piece of string question. The ones in my bedroom, fitted by the previous owner cost in the region of £2500. They were fitted by a local kitchen/bedroom furniture company.
