Cinecheck - Free Cinema Tickets

Has anyone heard of this organisation - cinecheck?? (https://www.cinecheck.com) You supposedly get paid for visiting the cinema and performing an "audit" of trailers that are shown + you get to see the film. Sounds to good to be true?? Thats why I'm posting this! I'm always reluctant to pass on my adress details to online companys.
The atmosphere is currently filled with hypocrisy so thick that it could be sliced, wrapped, and sold in supermarkets for a decent price and labeled, 'Wholegrain Left-Wing, Middle-Class, Politically-Correct Organic Hypocrisy'.

I joined them some time ago and had a few emails about ones to go and see but the cinema's were either not listed in my area or when I responded, they were always booked up for my cinema.

Decide for yourself if you think it's worth doing but I'd be interested to hear if anyone has been paid for participation ever.

They are genuine, except that you usually have to visit several cinema screens in one day and you may not get to see the film you like.
Be careful who you open up to. Today it's ears, tomorrow it's mouth.

Cinecheck is a genuine company, part of the TNS group.

Once or twice a month (sometimes more) checkers are required to go to a particular cinema to check the adverts and trailers of a certain film, you get paid to do this audit. Watching the film is not part of the job and the checker can not presume they are entitled to watch. However, saying that, a lot of checkers have been checking the same venue for many years and have built up a good relationship with the cinema staff and not only are they allowed to stay and watch but they can take their partners as well.

It is not just a case of checking one screen, every screen that is showing that film has to be checked (just the once) so this weekends film of Munich was easy as it was only on one screen but for Narnia, I was there most of the afternoon as it was on 6 screens.

The timings for these checks are quite strict and can only be done between 5.00pm Friday and 9.30pm Sat, all results have to be entered by 10.00pm Sat evening.

I hope this answers some of your questions.

The fee depends on how many screens are checked and if you enter the results on line or over the phone. If you enter the report on line you get extra. For an average check where the film is on around 4 screens you would get about £13.00.

    Thanks for the info Dazzieboo
  • The payment starts with about £9 for the first one, then you get an additional £1 or so for each extra screen you have to check.

Good things come to those who wait......... but the best will be taken by those who got there first ;)
