Easyjet Price Promise Worked For Me

"Any easyJet passenger who has made a booking and subsequently finds that lower fares (when taken together with all applicable charges) for the same easyJet flight have become available will be refunded the difference as a credit against future flights on easyJet (valid for six months from date of creation). The only exception to this is if the lower fare is part of a promotional offer.
All transfer fees and name change fees are non-refundable.
Each fare for each leg of the journey must be treated separately because easyJet sells singles and not returns.
To qualify for a refund the fare must be still available for sale and must be for the same date, destination, and flight number."
I originally booked 4 return flights from 8 July to 22 July on 3 January. Unfortunately, I subsequently discovered we had a family wedding to attend on 9 July, so I had to change the outward flights. I had to pay the £15 per ticket administration charge, but was not best pleased to discover the flights I had booked 5 days previously had gone down in price. I also had to pay a further £7.50 per ticket as a price difference, even though the fares were significantly cheaper.
When I discovered about Easyjet's price promise, I contacted them and they have given me a credit, in accordance with this policy. I know it is a credit against any future bookings, with a six month expiry date, but as my daughter has been invited to go to France with a friend in the middle of August, this will pay for their flights.
I think they deserve a thumbs up.
