How about telling us what Operating system and Program you are using for your email.

Just restore your inbox from the regular backups that you take of any important files on your computer.

unfortunately, if they arent in the "trash" or "deleted items" folder then you can't get them back
however, if yahoo has it, click on "archiving" and search your email
but if they aren't there, it means they've been permanently deleted and probably can't be recovered

    hope this helps

The bad news is that you use web based email Yahoo. Assuming you downloaded unto outlook etc, then you can restore. with most webmail, once you delete and log off, it is permanently deleted and cannot be found.

If you had used an e-mail client e.g. Outlook Express, Thunderbird, all of your e-mails would be stored on your computer. If these e-mails have gone from your web based Yahoo account, I can't see how you can get them back.

Unfortunately this happens a lot. You will have had them checked without realising and pressed delete. The emails DEFINITELY would not just disappear themselves.

I did this myself a few months ago. Didn't realise that when I checked the whole page it also checked all the other pages of emails. Luckily I could rescue them from trash before I permanantly deleted them.

If they are really important then it would be worth getting in touch with Yahoo Mail and see if they can restore them. I very much doubt they will as they probably get that kind of message millions of times a day. But atleast then you've tried. Better than not trying LOL They will have them on file for years after they are 'deleted' by the user. I'd be interested to know just how long they do keep details of emails sent.
