If I was going to save £50,000 wheres the best place to put it to get the most interest?

I'd like to jump on this bandwagon for any advice - for a slightly smaller lump sum investment now that interest rates have plummeted where do you put it?

Does any one have any good advice regarding saving a lump sum - I have £35,000 which option offers the best return. I need to be able to access the money.
